Gustavo Pinto serves as Business Director for ALTIVIA Oxide Chemicals, where he leads commercial strategy, business development, and P&L performance for the Oxide Chemicals business unit at ALTIVIA’s Crosby, TX facility.

Gustavo brings over 30 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, with a career spanning commercial leadership, operations, and business development across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He has held senior commercial and operational roles at Evonik Industries, Orion Engineered Carbons, and Roehm America (part of Röhm GmbH), with deep expertise in market segments including CASE, rubber, lubricants, and toll manufacturing.

His career foundation includes hands-on experience in production, R&D, supply chain, procurement, and quality assurance — giving him a well-rounded technical and operational perspective that strengthens his ability to deliver value to customers and partners. Gustavo holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and an MBA, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
