Color Removal

Removal of color causing compounds, in both drinking water, municipal and industrial wastewater, and environmental remediation applications is required by Federal, State and local authorities. Color compounds are usually colloidal in nature and can either exist in nature or are created by an industrial process such as pulping or dyeing operations. Coagulation and or oxidation may be required to remove colloidal color bodies from the water. Treatment options are dependent on the nature and concentration of the color causing compound.
