Clarification
 
Clarification is an important process utilized by industrial plants as part of their water treatment process. Clarification is a solids-liquid process whereby suspended material is removed or reduced to settleable solids. The resultant “clarified” water is then further processed or recycled. Clarification is achieved by the addition of flocculants to the water source.
