Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County
Awards 5 Year Odor and Corrosion Control Contract
|
HOUSTON, Texas --- ALTIVIA Corporation today announced that the Metropolitan
Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee (METRO) awarded
ALTIVIA a 5 year contract to provide chemicals, technology and application
services for the prevention of malodor and corrosion of their wastewater
collection system, and to mitigate hydrogen sulfide and odor production from
dewatering of raw primary and waste activated sludge at treatment plants.
METRO selected ALTIVIA’s proprietary NITRAZYME™ over US Filter’s Bioxide
as a primary odor and corrosion control product, and VX-456, a patented product,
to control hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan odors from the solids dewatering
processes.
