Monsen Named Vice President of Sales & Marketing
|
ALTIVIA Corporation today announced that Dr. Robert M. Monsen has joined
their organization and will hold the position of Vice President - Sales and
Marketing.
Prior to joining ALTIVIA, Dr. Monsen held the position of Vice President,
Sales & Marketing for Solvay Interox, Inc. Dr. Monsen was responsible for
managing and developing Solvay’s North American hydrogen peroxide, inorganic
peroxides, peracetic acid, epichlorohydrin and allyl chloride markets. During
his 18-year career with Solvay, Dr. Monsen also held technical and managerial
positions as Environmental Chemist, Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Director
and Site Coordinator at Solvay Interox’s Deer Park, Texas production facility.
Prior to his career with Solvay, Dr. Monsen spent five years in the oilfield
service business in Bakersfield, California. He earned a bachelor’s degree in
biology from Rutgers University, and master’s and doctorate degrees in
environmental science from the University of Texas Health Science Center,
School of Public Health. He will office at ALTIVIA’s corporate office in
Houston, Texas.
