ALTIVIA ACQUIRES MUNICIPAL DRINKING WATER BUSINESS

HOUSTON, Texas --- ALTIVIA Corporation today announced that it has signed a
definitive agreement to purchase the Municipal drinking water business from
Vulcan Chemical Technologies, LLC. This acquisition includes certain
exclusive rights to Chlorine Dioxide and related chemical products which are
used for public water purification and disinfection systems.
ALTIVIA, through this acquisition, becomes the largest service and product
provider to the municipal water treatment industry in North America, treating
in excess of 5 billion gallons of water per day and servicing over 600
municipal water treatment plants.

Houston; St. Gabriel, Louisiana; Orlando, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee.
